The Retreat Environment

Nirvana Wellness Sanctuary is situated on 70 acres in the hills of Beechmont.
The property is surrounded by extensive acreage of national forest, giving you all the serenity and beauty the area has to offer. Rainforest walks, observing nature and exploring an indigenous ecosystem can be done right from the property or you can take advantage of the wonders of the surrounding area.
As a place for rest and renewal along your life’s journey, Nirvana Wellness Sanctuary provides the ideal, natural environment for physical, emotional and spiritual rejuvenation. It is our intention to help you let nature and the perennial, wisdom practices heal your tired body and over stimulated mind, and help open your heart and keep it open even when times get tough.
Concern about our footprint on the environment has us self sufficient for water and waste disposal. We also have solar hot water and photovoltaic heating that connects us back to the electricity grid. It's grass roots organic at its best. We don't use harsh cleaning fluids. Although we do take cleaning and clearing the energy of our divine home and environment very seriously, there are cobwebs and unshiny surfaces, which we smudge and clean energetically with prayer and various non-toxic, natural producrts, as it is important that only biodegradable waste is put down toilets and sinks. Thank you for taking short showers.
We aim to minimise recycling and landfill and compost, or feed our chickens all our food waste.
Thank you for not bringing any food, alcohol, packaged drinks, drugs, or tobacco to the Retreat.
We love our humble retreat home and hope you do too.
